What are we doing to keep you safe during the coronavirus pandemic?
Our main concern here in the salon is safety, it always has been. We have always maintained a high level of cleanliness & managing infection control, being from a medical background it comes to second nature.
We want to make your salon experience as comfortable and normal as possible , but also to assure you of us keeping you as safe as we can. All of our staff are adhering to government guidelines by wearing PPE, visors, masks, gloves, disposable aprons. Hand washing & hand sanitising is done between each and every client.
Best In Class Covid Safe Practice
Our clients are asked to sanitise hands on arrival to the salon, (you will find the sanitisation station just inside of the salon door) along with wearing a face covering unless exempt from wearing one. We temperature check each client and ask clients to fill out covid screening forms before their appointments, however if you are suffering from any symptoms of coronavirus, we are asking you to reschedule your appointments.
The salon is undergoing cleaning between each client, cleaning chairs, basins, work surfaces and work areas with a fogging machine. Regular cleans of door handles, toilet and reception area is cleaned regularly throughout the day.
You may find it a little colder in the salon than normal, this is because we have to keep the salon well ventilated , therefore windows are always open when the salon is in use. Sanitisation stations are dotted about the the salon for clients and staff to use.
We have the use of LED sterilizing light boxes to disinfect tools between clients along with our barbicide solution.
We ask you to bring minimal belongings to your appointment, arrive on time , not early or late, so we can avoid the cross over of clients in the salon, and to allow us the time to disinfect all areas.
We are fully in line with UK Government guidelines. Full salon risk assessments have been done on all treatments & equipment and are available by request for our clients to read. Salons are not running the way they used to , we are all working on a 1-1 basis and are well distanced within the salon here at @Salon Sixty Five.
